Esportes da Sorte Group has acquired Apostou.com, the licensed operator behind BETBR Loterias, B1BET and BRBET platforms. The 2026 transaction extends the company’s regulated footprint in Brazil, currently the fifth-largest betting market worldwide.
Deal Structure and Market Revenue
The acquisition is being executed by HS Gaming Participações, a subsidiary of Esportes Gaming Brasil, and remains under review by the Administrative Council for Economic Defense under Public Notice No. 464. Brazil’s regulated betting sector generated nearly BRL 6 billion ($1.2 billion) in revenue during the first five months of 2026. This income results from a 12 percent levy on operators’ gross gaming revenue alongside corporate taxes including IRPJ, CSLL, PIS and Cofins.Esportes Gaming Brasil has operated under a definitive license from the Secretariat of Lotteries and Betting since 2025. The group manages three primary brands: Esportes da Sorte, Lottu and Onabet. According to Blask rankings for the first quarter of 2026, Esportes da Sorte occupies the sixth position nationally, while Onabet ranks tenth.
Betano and bet365 hold the first and second places respectively.
The group previously secured a controlling stake in ST Soft Desenvolvimento de Programas de Computadores Ltda in 2024, before its federal license approval. That company held the Apostou brand, which received Loterj accreditation in 2023. Loterj licenses previously allowed nationwide operations due to centralized servers in Rio de Janeiro.
Consolidation continues across the sector, with Flutter Entertainment acquiring a controlling stake in Betnacional and ANA Gaming operating the 7K, Cassino and Vera brands.
