Penn Entertainment released its second quarter and first half 2026 financial results on 7 August 2026. The operator recorded a 5.2 percent increase in total quarterly revenue, reaching $1.86bn, while nine land-based properties achieved new revenue and adjusted EBITDAR records.
Retail operations generated $1.5bn during the quarter, contributing to a half-year total of $3.6bn, which represents a 5.8 percent year-over-year rise. The interactive segment, encompassing theScore Bet and the Hollywood Casino platform, saw quarterly revenue climb 10.5 percent to $349m. First-half digital revenue reached $707.7m, marking a 16.7 percent increase.
Overall adjusted EBITDAR for the quarter stood at $312.6m, with a cumulative H1 figure of $578.4m. The interactive division reduced its quarterly adjusted EBITDAR loss to $9.5m from $35.5m, while the first-half loss narrowed to $63.2m compared to $74.3m previously.
Property Expansions and Digital Launches
CEO Jay Snowden noted that theoretical revenue growth was driven by mid- and high-worth customer segments alongside rising unrated revenue. Operating margins improved quarter-over-quarter and year-over-year across the retail portfolio. In June 2026, the company opened a new hotel tower at Hollywood Columbus and the new Hollywood Casino Aurora, both showing positive early visitation trends from VIP players.
The standalone Hollywood icasino platform in the US achieved record quarterly revenues with sequential and annual growth. Ontario operations expanded online sports betting engagement following World Cup activity, successfully converting reactivated OSB users to the icasino offering. On 13 July, theScore Bet, theScore Casino, and the Hollywood icasino standalone applications launched in Alberta.
