PG Soft Appoints Hugo Baungartner as LatAm General Manager

PG Soft has named Hugo Baungartner as General Manager for Latin America, effective July 9, 2026. The executive will oversee the company’s commercial growth across the region while directing operations in Brazil.

Baungartner’s primary focus will be expanding PG Soft’s commercial footprint throughout Latin America, with particular emphasis on Brazil. The Brazilian market continues to show steady growth as the sector approaches a new regulatory framework ahead of the upcoming national election. PG Soft already maintains an established position in the country and will use this transition period to strengthen its operational presence.

Executive Experience and Regulatory Relations

The appointment brings over twenty-nine years of technology and gaming industry experience to the role. Baungartner previously held leadership positions at Grupo Aposta Ganha, RCT Gaming, Prohards, and Esportes Gaming Brasil. His background includes established connections with regulatory authorities across Latin America, including Brazil’s Secretariat of Prizes and Betting, the Federal Revenue Service, COAF, Mexico’s Dirección General de Juegos y Sorteos, and the Mexican Gaming Association.

Event Participation and Future Plans

Baungartner noted that the provider’s mobile-first portfolio already holds strong recognition among local players. He plans to leverage existing market traction in Brazil while extending operations into additional regulated territories across the continent. Earlier this year, PG Soft sponsored BiS SiGMA South America in São Paulo, marking a prior step in the company’s regional engagement.
