Evolution chief executive Martin Carlesund stated that the pending $85 million Galaxy Gaming acquisition will not affect the company’s operations. The remark coincides with the expiration of the deal’s closing period on July 17, 2026, alongside the release of the supplier’s second quarter and first half financial results.

The transaction was initially announced in July 2024 and received a regulatory extension in November 2025. Carlesund described the pending purchase as administratively intensive but financially immaterial for Evolution. Evolution reported second quarter revenue of €517.8 million, representing a 1.2 percent decline from the previous quarter. First half revenue totaled €1.03 billion, down 1.4 percent year over year. EBITDA for the quarter reached €341 million, while net profit increased to €251.4 million. Half-year EBITDA stood at €676.3 million, with profit remaining stable at €503.4 million.European operations returned to positive territory with 3.5 percent quarter-on-quarter growth, following a weaker first quarter. Latin America delivered 26.3 percent year-on-year expansion, and North America grew by 9.5 percent. Asia recorded a 3.7 percent sequential decline.
Carlesund noted that cost management remains effective and cash flow continues to improve. He highlighted strong demand for game show titles and native-language live tables, while acknowledging ongoing channelization challenges in European markets. The company also relaunched its recently acquired studio in Argentina.
The financial update follows a recent settlement with the UK Gambling Commission regarding the distribution of live casino content to operators without local licenses.
